Air traffic suspended in Quito’s airport due to transfer to Tababela’s

Quito’s Airport Mariscal Sucre
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DAC for its Spanish acronym) reported nationally and internationally the date of suspension of flights for Quito airport to make the transfers to the new Tababela terminal.
The DAC issued two technical papers informing all airports worldwide that operations in the current air terminal, Mariscal Sucre will close the evening of February 19 at 19:00. Fourteen hours later, on February 20 at 09:00, will open its operations in the NAIQ.
Airlines and frequencies will be adjusted to the time of transfer for arrival and departure flights from the financial district.
After closing, Quiport will hand off the current space of the Mariscal Sucre airport to the city through the Municipality.
