Airbus Introduces The Future Cabin
Airbus, leading aircraft manufacturer in Europe, presented its model airplane for 2050 at the Paris Air Show Le Bourget. The cabin of the future or “Cabin Concept”, which features custom areas that would replace the traditional classroom settings to provide a new experience of flying.
Airbus’ proposal inspired by nature, the bionic structure of the plane is based on the efficient birds’ bone structure, optimized to provide maximum strength where needed and a membrane-type coating booth that will monitor the room temperature, and is able to become transparent to provide views.
In addition, passengers in the year 2050 may participate in interactive lectures, enjoy a game of virtual golf, read a story to their children before bedtime or recharge their energies in a “revitalizing” seat where they can relax, enrich themselves with vitamins and antioxidants, and enjoy the aromatherapy or acupuncture while enjoying a panoramic view of the world around them.
