Al-Qaeda Attacks in Yemen Raise Death Toll

The ministry of defense of Yemen, Mohammad Nasser Ahmed Ali, informed that the diverse terrorist attempts performed by Al Qaeda have left 73 people dead, including military officials.
In the last twelve days the terrorist cell has deployed and activated several explosive devices in the city of Zinyibar, in the south of Yemen. A city that for more than a year was under the control of a paramilitary group known as Ansar al Sharia, which means ‘Followers of Islamic Law’ which is related to the Jihad organization.
The army of Yemen recently recovered the city of Zinyibar the last June 13. (AV)
