Alianza PAIS will Celebrate its 5 Years of “Revolucion Ciudadana”

The upcoming Saturday of January 14th, the ruling party Alianza PAIS will celebrate its five years of government, denominated as “Revolucion Ciudadana.” The event will be held in the Alejandro Serrano Aguilar stadium in Cuenca from 7pm.
The celebration will be led by the Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, ministers of state, local government representatives and other guests.
As a special part of the evening, the national leadership of the movement will launch the new logo and slogan of the movement, coinciding with the eve of election campaigns. According to Fernando Cordero, president of the National Assembly, the event will announce the government’s progress and its future plans.
It is believed that the day starts at 13:00 with a food fair, mardi gras party, popular music festivals outside the stadium, live shows Pueblo Nuevo, Son Country, David Cañizares and the Latin-American group Victor Jara. At 23:00 start the fireworks and balloons.
