Alvaro Noboa Presented the Jury of Artist for the Third Biennial
Yesterday afternoon, Alvaro Noboa held a press conference at the Museum Luis A. Noboa Naranjo to introduce the artists who will serve as the jury of the forthcoming III International Painting Biennial, bearing the theme “The Elements of Nature“.
The local representatives for the Biennial are master Felix Arauz, internationally renowned artist and a devoted teacher. The Ecuadorian artist Enrique Tabara which is considered among the best painters alive today is also part of the jury.
International judges that serve on this jury are: Joseph Roberts, American art critic, Jeffrey Bishop, New York artist and Bolivian artist José Pepe Luque, winner of the Biennial Watercolor Ecuador.
This Biennial, to be held on April 4, would feature the participation of 250 national and international painters. Representatives from countries like Canada, United States, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, England, Italy, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Serbia, France, Spain, Russia and Ukraine.
This year they will choose the winner of the Biennial, the second prize and five third prizes and seven honorable mentions.
