Alvaro Noboa: PRIAN to Renew its Party Members

Alvaro Noboa
Alvaro Noboa, PRIAN Party leader, announced today that his Ecuadorian political party has begun a renewal process of its members.
“To change to Ecuador, I have to change and improve many of the figures of our party. Rather than taking out people from PRIAN we will have to enter new people with fighting spirit (…) There will be many new figures, especially the youth.”
Noboa said that within universities there are people who share his vision of a new Ecuador and could enter the political party he leads.
“There is within the university people who also want Ecuador to have a rich middle class for all Ecuadorians, with cement houses, autos, health, college education, safe neighborhoods.”
On the resignation of Dr. Vicente Taiano he said that he was indeed been notified of his removal.
“A few days ago Mr. Vicente Taiano was informed that he would not be among our candidates for assembly elections in February 2013. Today I’ve received a letter of resignation to the party on behalf of Mr. Vicente Taiano.” (FL)
