Alvaro Noboa talks about his father in Banana Forum
“Shortly after my dad died, they said that the Noboa company would only last three years, but here are several generations who still work in the Noboa company, always putting into practice the lessons of my father, who was also my my mentor, the person I have love the most in my life, along with my mother, who taught me economy and said: ‘Enroll at the law school because they will not teach you anything about economics in college, Instead, I’ll teach you economy and laws they’ll serve,’ and he was right,” were the words of Alvaro Noboa during the opening of the Banana Forum.
Noboa was commissioned to deliver the prize `Luis Noboa Naranjo´to the former mayor of Machala, Carlos Falquez, “who has been noted for his work in the private sector as a banana producer and entrepreneur.”
