Alvaro Noboa will denounce possible electoral fraud to the OAS

Posted On 04 Feb 2013

So it was stated by the presidential candidate for the Partido Renovador Institucional Accion Nacional (PRIAN) during a press conference. Noboa revealed that he will denounce before the Organization of American States (OAS), about the electoral fraud that could occur in the upcoming elections of February 17.

“That’s how electoral frauds are made! Will there be electoral fraud in Ecuador? Let Ecuadorians answer to that, after they receive all the information, “said Noboa.

According to the candidate, the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) ignores publications of the ruling media, which publish “surveys of various candidates, and put Rafael Correa at 47% and all other candidates with an average of 1%. That way it’s easy to surprise Ecuadorians saying that Correa is number one, because it seems that no candidate has more than 1% “.

Noboa also reveals that such media “made an exception with Mr. Guillermo Lasso who was granted a 7.98%. Mr. Lasso is who gave money for Correa’s campaign in 2006 who supported Mahuad in 1998 and  Lucio in 2002, and so it seems he has a good relationship with Mr. Correa, who has been merciful to him and gave him 7.98% “.

“So once again we will continue to speak before the OAS, although we know that the only one who can stop electoral fraud is Ecuadorians,” he added.

Noboa announced survey results in Quito

Yesterday in Guayllabamba, PRIAN candidate unveiled the survey results, which place him in 2nd place with 26% of the voter intention, while Correa has 35%.

“Rafael Correa 35%, Alvaro Noboa 26%, that’s what the latest polls reveal, we will enter the run-off and I will be the next president of Ecuador,” said the lawyer.

Yesterday Alvaro Noboa toured Guayllabamba, Quito.
