Miss Universe 2003 and singer, Amelia Vega, married in secret to the NBA player, Al Horford.

The couple married on Christmas Eve in a ceremony at the residence of his uncle, singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra and his wife, Nora Vega, on the island of Dominican Republic, home of the newlyweds.

The news not only shocked the world of entertainment and sport, but also their own guests, who thought they would come to a traditional Christmas dinner and found a marriage.

Both Vega and Horford announced that they will soon celebrate their union in a big ceremony with their family, friends, fans and media.
