An action for damages is the legal option of retired military

A civil action for damages before the local courts is the option analyzed within associations of retired military officers to “defend” the equity of the Institute of Social Security of the Armed Forces (the ISSFA), according to some leaders inquired by daily El Universo.
This after President Rafael Correa ordered the Finance Ministry to debit $ 41 million from the accounts of the institution to recover an alleged “excess” payment made by the Ministry of Environment for the lands where the Samanes Park is currently located, in Guayaquil.
