An Ecuadorian dish won a prize in China

The Ecuadorian dish “encocado de camarón” (shrimp with coconut) was the award-winning “Art Yiyin Silver Award” during a culinary competition in China.
Pro Ecuador through its commercial office in Beijing coordinated the participation of the Ecuadorian chef Johana Gomez de la Torre, who delighted the palate of the Chinese judges with this dish, whose main ingredient is shrimp.
This competition was held within the framework of the event The Belt and Road Food Products Communication Meeting. This international exchange platform seeks to improve and modernize the catering industry and promote negotiations.
