Ana Alban Visits Ecuador to Analyze Assange’s Asylum

Ambassador of Ecuador in Britain, Ana Alban, arrived yesterday to the country, to consider Assange’s political asylum application.
The ambassador came at the request of President Rafael Correa. While in Ecuador, Alban will talk with Foreign Ministry officials and the President to inform him about the case.
Alban was Environment Minister during the government of Correa and Alfredo Palacio’s. She was censured in 2007, by the National Congress, accused of negligence in the Galapagos theme. (MZ)
