Argentina Flights Gradually Resumed
Posted On 07 Jun 2011
After the rain of ash caused by the eruption of Puyehue in Chile that affected cities in Argentina, flights resumed domestic, regional and international flights.
The cancellations of those flights were recorded in two airports from Buenos Aires. Also in air-stations of southern cities like Rio Gallegos, Rio Grande, Ushuaia and Comodoro Rivadavia, as well as those of Mendoza, Santa Rosa and San Rafael and Bahia Blanca, south of the central province of Buenos Aires.
The border between Chile and Argentina were cut, as Argentine roads were interrupted by the involvement of ash accumulation.
