Assange Will be On TV

Posted On 24 Jan 2012

Wikilieaks founder Julian Assange, who is currently a house-bound prisoner, will be hosting a 10 half-hour episodes in a television show.

The TV show will feature conversations between Assange and “controversial voices from across the political spectrum, each to offer a window on the world tomorrow and their ideas on how to secure a brighter future,” said Wikileaks in a statement.

This could be the best chance Assange has to make the world hear him, it has been filmed at his home in Britain, where he awaits a court decision on whether or not he should be extradited to Sweden to face allegations of sexual assault.

The TV show will air in March.
