At Least 21 People Die in Train Accident in India

A passenger train crashed into a goods train that was parked near Badarwas Station, 200 km north of Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. There are at least 21 people dead, with 50 people hurt, 22 of them are in critical condition and the rest of them have been discharged.
Witnesses affirm local villagers are supporting authorities on the rescue labor, to try to take out most of the people that are still trapped inside the train.
Indian railways transport more than 18 million passengers, and more than 2 million tons of freight every day, with a network of more than 63,327 km, which makes it one of the most important transportation systems of the country. However, it uses outdated technology, which doesn’t let it work appropriately.
