Mobilizations and sit-ins will be held in Guayaquil and Quito on the occasion of the independence day (August 10). The central objective of the demonstrations will be to ask for speed in the investigations for corruption cases that would involve senior officials.

The Unitary Front of the Workers, the National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Unitary Collective of Management will offer a press conference at 10:00 am outside the Attorney General’s Office in Quito. President of Cedocut and trade union member of the Unitary Front of Workers Mesias Tatamuez said that they will demand justice to take concrete measures for the Odebrecht, Single and Caminosca cases.
