Posted On 13 Feb 2012
A magistrate of the Spanish Supreme Court filed today the open cause to judge Baltasar Garzon due to the sponsorship to five Spanish companies for courses in New York University in 2005 and 2006.
This is the third judicial cause filed against the popular judge after hearing the phone tapings of a corruption network. For this reason he has been disabled of his office and another for investigating the crimes committed during the Franco era.
Magistrate Manuel Marchena informed that the bribery offense charged to Garzon is improper. (AV)
