Barcelona SC is on the IESS list of late payments

Yesterday, the provincial direction of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) of Guayas began the seizings of goods from some debtor companies, totaling the amount of 109 million, distributed among 24. 000 enterprises in the province.

The operation started in the streets Quisquis and Tulcan, Center of Guayaquil, with a particular school, that according to the institution belongs to Supercorporation company, which is linked to Dulcemar S.A. The first is inactive, and the second one is dissolved.

Among the companies that could be seized for debts is Barcelona Sporting Club, for this reason, the directive must cancel USD 700,000 until this Friday to avoid foreclosure.

Coercive Judge of Social Security, Ivan Espinel, pointed out that the entity will carry out an enforced collection process of  past due loans from employers, against heirs, legal representatives, partners and shareholders in cases of judicial persons and warned that in some cases, insolvency trials could be applied.
