Barcelona wants to beat Universidad Católica

There are no rest for Barcelona, the team’s performance has forced the DT Gustavo Costas to increase the rithym of training for the match against Universidad Católica, in which the yellow team will play  without the players summoned to the Tricolor Squad (Máximo Banguera, Frickson Erazo y Juan Carlos Paredes).

Although the rest of the clubs will have no activity on the Championship, Barcelona will visit this Sunday Universidad Católica, to complete the eighth date.

The match to be played at noon at the Atahualpa Stadium, was postponed because the idol of Ecuador had a commitment on the Libertadores  Cup against Toluca from Mexico.

Today,  technical director Gustavo Costas will do two-day job in a day. In the morning he will intensify the physical workout and in the afternoon will do movements with the ball.

Barcelona could already count with the participation of the Argentine Damián Díaz, who on Friday travelled to the United States for a  medical review. Meanwhile, his fellow team player, Ariel  Nahuelpan , just joined today.

Regarding  the rest of the Canary Squad, the argentine midfielder Nicolás Olmedo, who suffers an injury, held a session of physiotherapy.
