Barcelona Won the Match at Monumental Stadium

This afternoon the second phase of the Ecuadorian Football Championship was played at Banco Pichincha stadium. Barcelona soccer team defeated Imbabura team.

In the first half, Luis Caicedo missed the first opportunity for Barcelona to score after a cross from Matias Oyola. In minute16, Pablo Palacios scored the first goal for Imbabura team. Despite the score, Imbabura’s team did not decline in their attack. However in minute 45 Damian Diaz made the 2nd goal achieving a two-zero in the first half.

At the end of the match the score was 3-1. Barcelona was the winner of the match. (BG)
