Bashar al-Assad Says Rebels Will Be Crushed

This Friday the Syrian president stated that his regime will not fall nor fail. Al-Assad also accused Gulf countries for using their resources to try to remove him from his office.

Bashar al-Assad’ statement responds to comments from an opposition group, the National Coordination Body for Democratic Change in Syria, accuseing the regime of being the responsible of the disappearance of two of its leaders.

After the remarks made by the president, the Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoebi informed the state-run TV that the president has met with nine Egyptian journalists to discuss the latest events in the country. AV
