Beyoncé confirms pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards

The singer Beyoncé Knowles and her husband, rapper and producer Jay-Z announced her pregnancy last Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The famous couple, who had repeatedly denied to the press rumors of pregnancy, surprised the world with the news. Beyoncé stepped out on the VMA red carpet in a chic orange sheath and posed cradling her new baby bump. “I have a surprise,” she said in front of the cameras.

All night, all comments revolved around the recent announcement. Once the show started, the audience anxiously awaited the performance of the singer. Beyoncé took the stage to sing his song Love On Top, where she asked the audience to stand up and said, “I want you to feel the love that is growing inside me.” At the end of her presentation she unbuttoned her jacket and starts to caress her belly.
