Bolillo Gomez is Out of the Colombian Soccer Federation

Bolillo Gomez resignation is finally accepted

Today the Colombian Soccer Federation confirmed the resignation of Hernan “Bolillo” Dario Gomez as Sport Director of the country’s team. Gomez added that his resignation is irrevocable.

Today, the Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos spoke on favor of accepting the resignation of Gomez, after the scandal regarding the attack against a women outside a bar in Bogota.

The resignation divided the country since some people were on favor of him leaving the charge, while others asked that Gomez be spared of this incident and continue to work with the Colombian team for the Brazil 2014 World Cup. (AV)
