A Heavy fighting has started near the compound of Colonel Moammar Gadhafi’s in Tripoli on Tuesday. This occurred hours later that Saif al Islam, the Libyan leader’s son appeared to thwart rebel claims that he had been captured.

The confrontations between the rebels and supporters of Gadhafi have taken the war to the streets of Tripoli. To support their fight the rebels started to organize the so-called Tripoli Brigades since June.

The men of these paramilitary forces have strong family and social ties from the city, afterwards they are trained in the Western Mountains.
