Bucaram Asked Pre Candidates to Support his Father

Abdala Bucaram Pulley, assemblymen of PRE stated that the other pre candidates for the presidential elections should dismiss their candidature in the upcoming elections in 2013. Bucaram stated that, “the only candidate who will defeat Rafael Correa is the president of the poor Abdala Bucaram Ortiz.”

PRE will participate in the electoral process despite it did not fulfill the number of signatures required to be approved in the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym). Bucaram stated that their political party would give more signatures the upcoming week. The registration period will conclude on September 24.

Finally Bucaram Pulley added that PRE is currently searching a vice president for Abdala Bucaram Ortiz. He also stated that shortly after his father announced his presidential candidacy the government has persecuted him. AV
