Businessmen question the letter to workers

Employers questioned the message and the way in which the government is sending a letter to workers of private companies.

For this reason the Ecuadorian Business Committee (CEE for its Spanish acronym) sent a letter to the representative of the Ministry of Labor Leonardo Berrezueta. Part of the letter says: “Through this letter, we express our deep concern over the delivery of a personalized letter to workers of several companies nationwide, an act that has been done in the last hours by the Ministry you lead. in it, the commitment of the Citizen Revolution with the workers and the management of the political project is highlighted, which is a proselytizing message.”

In this regard, Francisco Alarcon, president of the Guayaquil Chamber of Industries (CIG), told Daily Expreso that the content is political and the law prohibits political acts in companies, both the employers and workers sectors.
