Campaign to fight against breast cancer starts

On Sunday, September 20 two thousand mammograms will be realized at Malecon Simon Bolivar. This through the campaign that leads the Poly Ugarte Foundation.

Poly, the promoter of this organization, began this fight eight years ago with the ‘Touch you’ campaign, which seeks that women do the breast self-examination to detect any abnormality on time.

This year the league of super women is a proposal “to empower women who are valuable, to make them realize they have the obligation to care for their health,” said Ugarte.

The Deputy Mayor of Guayaquil, Domenica Tabacci, and Assemblywoman Maria Cristina Kronfle, as well as TV presenters Ursula Strenge and Erika Velez, are part of this campaign.

They, along with the pink warriors, will walk on Sunday 20 from the Centenario Park to the boardwalk where medical examinations will be conducted.
