Capriles blames the Government of Maduro to promote confrontations
Through a press Henrique Capriles, Venezuelan opposition leader on Thursday accused the government of Nicolas Maduro of promoting confrontation in the country with the detention of the leader Leopoldo Lopez.
“The Government believes that prisoner putting some political leader the country’s problems are over. Is not going to end the problem of the country, rather I believe can deepen the conflict,” said Capriles.
The former presidential candidate defended the innocence of Lopez and considered a “serious political mistake by the government,” the arrest of the leader of Voluntad Popular.
At the same time condemned the violence, which he said only favors the officialism.
Lopez is detained at the military prison in Ramo Verde, on the outskirts of Caracas, after a court last night ratified a measure of prison for 45 days against him.
