Captured three Ecuadorian with 673 kilos of cocaine in Guatemala

Three Ecuadorians were captured Saturday by Guatemalan anti-drug agents with 673 kilos of cocaine when traveling on a boat shark boat in Pacific waters (south), the police spokesman, Jorge Aguilar said.

The spokesman told reporters that Ecuadorians were arrested when they sailed 120 nautical miles off the Pacific coast in Puerto San Jose, Escuintla, some 100 km south of the Guatemalan capital.

He said that the detainees were identified as Julius R. B., 43, Rafael P.M. (42) and Carlos G. (38).

“In conducting the field test the packages seized it tests positive for cocaine drug presumptive” he explained.

The spokesman said that sailors of the Naval Base of the Pacific detected Friday night on the radar how a boat is moving at high speed, so alerted the Coast Guard for the intercept and the early hours of Saturday (I) was achieved (I).
