Carrion innocence ratified
“The innocence of my husband (Cesar Carrion) has been ratified and the only thing I demand to the President (Rafael Correa) is that they let us live in peace. Enough with the persecution, we want a peaceful home,” said Janeth Orbe, wife of Colonel Cesar Carrion, former director of the Police Hospital during the events of September 30 (30-S), 2010.
The appeal hearing was set at 09:00 with 10 minutes of delay as court awaited the arrival of prosecutor Galo Chiriboga. Judge Hernan Ulloa, president of the Chamber, declared abandoned the appeal against the ratification of innocence brought by prosecutor Luis Enriquez on September 6.

Prosecutor Chiriboga entered the room at 9:15 with his adviser Cecilia Armas to learn later that the appeal he requested was declared abandoned. Chiriboga apologized for being late and said he had made his arrival at 9:05 but the elevator at the Courthouse arrived the underground parking late.
