Charlie Sheen is Back with New TV Sitcom
On Monday morning TMZ and Radar had previously reported that actor Charlie Sheen would be returning to the small screen with “Anger Management,” a new sitcom with Lionsgate.
Sheen will play a character like Jack Nicholson’s therapist from the 2003 film, that the new series is based on. However Sheen will not only be acting he also has a significant ownership stake in the new show.
According to the actor he chose “Anger Management” because it means a change for him to play a guy with serious anger management issues. Sheen also took control of the series to have some creative control of the show.
Charlie would also be working with one of his favorite movie producers, Joe Roth, with whom he worked on the films “Major League,” “The Three Musketeers” among others. (AV)
