Chavez Speaks on his Fourth Chemotherapy
Posted On 26 Sep 2011
Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez successfully evolved from its fourth chemotherapy in Cuba last week and is preparing for his reelection campaign in 2012.
“No more chemotherapy. I’m recovering from the impacts of these four continuous and very strong cycles. I’m in treatment with medications, but they reported that all vital signs are good and evolving favorably,” Chavez said on national television.
“My desire to live has grown. I have a great desire to continue living and becoming more and more useful,” he said.
“I’m in my rear quarter to rest a bit, to better prepare for the next campaign, which is going to be tough but we will certainly win in 2012. We can not say we already won but we started winning,” he said.
