Citizenfour, documentary about Edward Snowden is exhibited today in Guayaquil

The film Citizenfour opened the Film Festival documentary (EDOC), in Quito and by means of videoconference Edward Snowden, answered questions from the audience about the documentary directed by Laura Poitras.

The documentary featuring Snowden, discusses the information provided by him to spread the network of massive digital surveillance that U.S. Government had. When he agreed to speak with Poitras he never thought they were going to film; “that was not the idea,” commented like a joke Snowden in the Conference. His first impression was that he would fall straight to prison, but in the end he has no regrets.

Citizenfour will be screened free in the MAAC cinema on monday one of the two venues of the EDOC Festival in Guayaquil. (I)
