This Wednesday, February 18 the Ministry of Telecommunications subscribed along with the operators Movistar and Claro contracts for the expansion of radio spectrum for 4G network.
Vice President Jorge Glas emphasized that each company will generate between $ 800 and $ 1,000 million in the next five years.
“This shows the guarantees provided by the country for private investment so it keeps strengthening and providing more opportunities for Ecuadorians,” said the official.
Telecommunications Minister Augusto Espín noted that the value for spectrum allocation of 4G network is additional to the economic obligations of operators established in the initial contracts signed in 2008.
