Five provinces are still in the recount of the ballot papers that could not be processed in the scrutiny stations.
Places where new elections will be analyzed are La Unión, in Manabí; Sumaco in Napo; Lomas de Sargentillo, Pedro Carbo and Yaguachi, in the province of Guayas, because of the events that arose in the election day.
The Quinzaloma canton, in two boards of the Calope parish; in the parishes of Santa Rita and Muisne, in Esmeraldas; Chiquicha, in Tungurahua; El Carmen de Pijili and Camilo Ponce Enríquez, in Azuay; La Esperanza,in Imbabura; and San Isidro, in Morona Santiago. Citizens will go to the polls to elect their sectional authorities.
