CNE sends list of candidates enrolled and expects the objection resource

CNE studies candidates registrations
Yesterday the Provincial Electoral Boards began notifying political organizations with the preliminary rosters of the registered candidates, who will have a 48 hours period to file objections to the candidates registered on 21 November, when the registration of candidates was closed.
Domingo Paredes, president of the National Electoral Council (CNE) said that if in that period the resource objection is not made, the application will be approved.
According to Paredes, last Friday night the registered candidates reached to 22 902. This Monday they plan to deliver a new report according to the data entry into the computer system of the entity.
Until last Saturday, November 23, the electoral boards of Guayas and Pichincha, the two provinces with more voters in the country, continued to account the registered pre-candidacies for the local elections of February 23, 2014.
