CNE will Remove groups with forged signatures

Staff employed by the CNE works in the verification of signatures of the political groups for their electoral registration.
The National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) will delete, from its records, movements or political parties whose leaders are guilty of the crime of signature forgery for the registration and re-registration of them.
The warning was made last Saturday by the CNE president, Domingo Paredes, after hearing hundreds of complaints from citizens who appear in the electoral register as members or adherents of political groups without having expressed their intention to do so.
Paredes argues that if “If the crime by managers of political organizations to deceive the electoral system, political system and democracy in the country, gets checked, this organization will be deleted from the tables of the CNE,” said Paredes. (MZ)
