COFIEC Paid Legal Advisor with a Department

Xavier Gonzalo Arregui, the legal advisor of COFIEC Bank, received high salaries and a department in avenue 6 de Diciembre and La Niña, for his work since 2009 till March 2012.
Arregui was promoted from executive secretary in charge of the National Council of Narcotic and Psychotropic (Consep for its Spanish acronym) in 2003, a job for which he paid $ 666,52 taxes; as a legal advisor of COFIEC he started receiving $ 19,478,28 by the end of 2010.
During the judicial process made against COFIEC Bank, his name has been mentioned several times. On May 31 of 2011, Arregui charged 139,440 for collection jobs in the trial of 88-2005, which was cancelled without being finished. What called the attention was the property of the parking was not yet perfected to the bank but Arregui was already living in it. The final report of Superintendency pointed out that the board annulled the delivery of the department. AV
