On Monday, the defense ministers of the three border Latin American countries will meet to discuss issues of cooperation in security and control of unidentified flights, during a meeting that seeks to “join forces in the fight against common threats,” said the Ecuadorian ministry in a statement.
According to the statement, the officials will examine topics such as building regional peace, the exchange of information on cross-border crimes and backup works to the border towns.
This is the first joint meeting of the defense ministers of the three countries, which is an important step in the process of local integration in the area of defense.
