Colombian Government and FARC are Ready to Begin Peace Dialogues

Yesterday, the second in command of FARC and chief negotiator, Ivan Marquez, arrived to Cuba to begin with the peace process of this guerrilla and travel to Oslo in the upcoming hours.
Marquez along with the rest of the FARC delegation will travel together to Norway, where they will meet privately with the government delegation to prepare the official peace process for Colombia.
The only one negotiator absent from the guerrilla delegation is the Dutch Tanja Nijmeijer, who was called on the last minute by the rebels. However, the FARC commander, Rodrigo Londono Echeverri a.k.a Timochenko said in an interview the Nijmeijer, will be one of the spokesperson in Oslo, where she will perform as a translator. AV
