Colombian Government and FARC: The Owning of Lands Will be Discussed in Meeting

The armed conflict in Colombia, that started half a century ago began due the owning of lands and the concentration of the property in the outdoors. This would be the first subject to be debated next Thursday in Cuba, which is according to the schedule of president Juan Manuel Santos government and FARC.
Ivan Marquez, the chief of the FARC delegation, defined the matter as “one of the central aspects of the conflict” and “the historical cause of the confrontation of classes in Colombia.” An agreement on this point would allow dismiss the main contradictions from both sides.
After several decades of armed conflicts between FARC y the Colombian government, over 3,7 million people have been moved across the country.
