Ukraine continues its offensive plan against separatists at the east of the country, where the last fightings left at least 17 dead.
Among the 17 civilians killed in the last 24 hours, were three children killed by artillery fire in Gorlivka, a separatist bastion, 45 km north of Donetsk, said the regional administration in a statement, adding that the attack also left 43 wounded.
In addition, loud explosions were heard during the morning and around Tuesday noon in Donetsk, according to AFP reporters.
In Lugansk, another separatist bastion, local authorities reported the deaths of five civilians. However, the Ukrainian army has gained ground over the rebellion of the pro-Russian in recent days.
