Commission approved report for debate at the Assembly on amendments
The occasional Commission for Amendments of the National Assembly Monday approved -in second debate- the project report for amendments to the Constitution, that the plenary of the body will discuss at a meeting to be convened within the next December 3 and January 3.
The draft of 147 pages, was read to the eleven members of the Commission, who then intervened and finally voted.
Furthermore, the rapporteur Assemblyman will be the head of the Commission and member of the ruling party Juan Carlos Cassinelli.
The Assembly published on its website that “in the draft report prepared by the Commission for Constitutional Amendments, these are classified into three groups: those that expand rights under the Constitution; to adapt the constitutional text to new social conditions; and to ensure the effectiveness of the Constitution.”
