The consultancy Deloitte & Touche carried out an investigation to find out the changes in work dynamics in companies due to the spread of the virus. This reflects that the work modalities that have been adopted are as follows : 91% telework, 46% face-to-face, 24% semi-face-to-face and 50% other types.
There were 129 companies , of which 46% correspond to the service sector, 27% to the commercial sector and 26% to the industrial sector, who were consulted, for example, about the impact caused by the crisis on payroll and it was observed that 6 % will increase it, 49% will maintain it, 7% have not yet decided and 37% will reduce it.
Regarding the payment of wages, 67% will keep the dates according to their policies, while 16% have not yet defined what to do, and 17% have a specific plan, such as making payments to their workers for the supply of products, paying 50% of the salary for suspended personnel, cancellation of variable payments, agreements with employees to defer payments, advance payments and balance by parts, adjustment of hours and working hours, among others.
The measurement, which was carried out between March 27 and April 6, determined that, in the case of the payment of the variables, 50% of the companies plan to pay them, compared to 10% that will not, 13% not defined, 8% will reduce the percentage and 5% will pay the minimum.
65% of companies will apply benefits, compared to 35% that will not. These include anticipating profits, reducing working hours without discounts, advances and advanced bonds, credits at low interest rates, deferred consumption in pharmacies, and others. (I)
