Concertation Movement announces its adherence to the Unity

The Concertacion movement confirmed its adherence to the so-called Unity, promoted by various political organizations.
Its president, Cesar Montufar, announced the news in a hotel in Guayaquil, accompanied by the presidential candidate of the PSC-MG party, Cynthia Viteri, and Mayor Jaime Nebot.
Montufar said that Concertation will not present a presidential letter, it will rather support the emergence of the Unit.
He declined to confirm if he will support Viteri.
He informed that his movement -which is of national level and is one of the 13 approved by the CNE- has a government plan he hopes is welcomed by the Unity.
This is a political initiative launched in 2015. Its founders are Nebot, mayor of Quito Mauricio Rodas (SUMA), and the prefect of Azuay Paul Carrasco (Together We Can).
the prefect of the Morona Santiago Marcelino Chumpi (PK), the leader of Avanza Ramiro Gonzalez, among others later joined the proposal.
