The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, invited on broadcast TV signal, the CREO Assemblyman Andres Paez to “fix” the political differences outside the traditional spheres, the opposition has used the scenario to revive the criticism of the attitude of the president and the ruling party for remaining silent.

It would not be the first time that such invitations are registered. Politicians, journalists and even Internet users have turned “man to man” solutions in a constant policy.

Guillermo Lasso, leader of the CREO party, has rejected the stance of both protagonists in what he catalogs as a “childish quarrel.”
