Constanza Baez, the third most beautiful woman in the world

Ecuadorians lived a day of emotion and pride yesterday when their representative in the beauty contest Miss Universe, Constanza Baez, was elected second runner-up. The two finalists were the candidates from Spain and form Venezuela, Gabriela Isler who won the crown as the most beautiful woman in the world.

Social networks are saturated with messages to congratulate the current Miss Ecuador for her achievement. From Moscow, Baez said that she felt excited. “We made history,  it is the first time that we are in the top 5, and still don’t  believe it”, she said.

“This was for you, all the sacrifice and all the desire and effort I put was for you and also for this tradition to continue and don’t just stay with the results of this years, but to have in the future an Ecuadorian Miss Universe”, reiterated Baez.

Constanza was in Russia with the support of her parents, brothers, uncles and her boyfriend Nelson Riofrío Azar. In addition,  her make up was the work of Ecuadorian Cuty Ycaza. At the final gala, Baez wore a green dress designed by  Ecuadorian designer Elvia Alvarado. It was a siren style which  was embroidered with crystals with  feathers on the lower part.
