Constitutional Judges Will Issue a Report of the Ecuadorian Referendum

This afternoon judges Nina Pacari and Roberto Brunis would release the analysis they performed about the five questions for the popular consult and the five questions for the Constitutional Court referendum, which were submitted by President Rafael Correa.

Pacari did not reveal any contents of the report but noted that they may suggest changes “they (the questions) may be modified, there may be alternatives, it depends on how you analyze, the responsibility that lies on the substance judges is to present a proposal made from the analysis,” said Pacari, who added that the analysis was carried out with total transparency.

Once the judges submitted their reports, the Court Board should issue its report until 21 February.
