Cordicom punishes to medium per comment of Alfredo Pinoargote
The Council’s regulation of communication (Cordicom) concluded that Alfredo Pinoargote, Ecuavisa interviewer, used discriminatory expressions on 7 January, when he referred to the legal limitations that govern to speak on topics related to race or gender.
This conclusion was after that Alexandra Ocles, Assemblyman country Alliance (AP), denounced to the Superintendence of communication (Supercom) that the interviewer had supposedly issued homophobic, racist and discriminatory comentaries.
The conclusion of the Cordicom is in a report which referred to the Supercom, that would suggest an apology from the director of the medium as a sanction.
Last Monday was the presentation of evidence of charge and discharge in the Supercom. Notification to Pinoargote is now planned.
