Corinthians became champions in the South American re-cup

The actually champion of Copa Libertadores won the title by defeating  the also Brazilian Sao Paulo 2-0, with goals from Romarinho and Danilo.

Corinthians, as champion of the Copa Libertadores and Sao Paulo, as the champion of the South American Cup, competed for the Re-Cup, which in 2009 and 2010 was won by Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito.

Corinthians had won with a final score of 2-1 in the first match of last week, when they were visitors in the game played at the Morumbi stadium.
